Teton Interagency Dispatch Assistant Center Manager, GS-10, Position Now Open

The 2022 Bridger Teton wildland fire season concluded with 34 fire starts. There were 15 human-caused fires, 19 lightning caused fires for a total of 112.75 acres compared to the 10 year average which is 18336.77 acres. Teton fire personnel with assistance from neighbors claimed over 2000 acres during prescribed burning operations in 2022.

Teton Interagency Dispatch Center (TIDC) dispatched 44 wildland fires, totaling 114 acres, during the 2022 fire season. Bridger Teton NF had 34 fires, Grand Teton NP had 6 fires, National Elk Refuge had 1 fire, Wyoming State Forestry Division had 2 fires and Teton County had 1 fire.

The Wildland Firefighter Foundation - Teton Chapter invites you to the 9th Annual Headwaters Golf Scramble to be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the beautiful Cedar Creek Golf Course in Star Valley, Wyoming. We expect the tournament to fill up early this year so don't delay submitting your 2023 Team Entry Form (Registration Deadline May 15) .
