Sweeney Creek

This fire was discovered around 4:20 pm Sunday afternoon just north of Half Moon Lake along Sweeney Creek Trail. Sublette County Unified Fire, Sublette County Sheriffs office, Sublette County Emergency Management, along with engine crews from USFS, responded and assisted with the firefighting effort. Resources were able to contain the fire just after 7 pm. Crews will continue working towards full suppression. Cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
