West Zone Duty Officer and E631 responded to a smoke report in the Smiths Fork area near Crystal Lake late evening July 21st. Upon arriving found a single tree with flame, in comparison to a candle stick. On the morning of July 22nd, following up on the Poker Hollow Fire, located another fire. Resources have been ordered. The Poker Hollow Fire is approximately 2 acres and burning in a light timber in meadow, located west of Poker Hollow warming hut. 

Containment line held through the night. Today, July 23, Firefighters will continue to work falling hazard trees, putting out hotspots in the interior with the help of water bucket drops. A fire module crew from the Shale Creek Fire, also burning on the Kemmerer Ranger District, will be shuttled in this morning to help with both the Poker Hollow and Estella Fire. 

The Poker Hollow Fire is in monitor status at this time as resources are being rerouted to other fires. The fire behavior is minimal and has received significant amount of moisture.
