Teton Interagency Fire

Recreational warming fire left unattended during the warm, breezy, afternoon hours. Six firefighters are suppressing the fire with the support of a helicopter’s bucket for water delivery. Please remember to never leave any fire unattended, It’s not worth the worry or the fine! 
Your fire must be dead out and cold to the touch before you leave the area, designate one individual to make sure all potential fire 🔥threats are taken care of before the start of any adventure away from camp.  If you’re not near a water source, consider not having a fire and always bring extra clothing for layering and warmth.
