A lightning map has confirmed this new fire start from a storm passing over the area on 9/19. Currently burning in an isolated pocket of mixed conifer, willow and aspens the .50 acre fire did spot into an adjacent stand of vegetation. With the   weather moving into the area, firefighters will leave the remote area of the fire and patrol the area as needed. Smoke maybe visible at the higher elevations of the  of the Public and firefighter safety is always the first priority for managers. Due to low fire potential at this time, no trails will be closed. Hikers and hunters are advised to always use caution when in the area of a wildfire and smoke may be visible.
