Announcements
The nomination period
for Spring 2026 Northwest Training Center course sessions is now open. Courses are posted in the Wildland
Fire Learning Portal. Nomination processes are listed on course
announcements. Supervisor approval is required. Contact your FMO or the Forest
Training Officer if you need assistance locating a course.
Please keep your fire experience updated. Responder Update Sheets are available on the IQCS website. Turn in your completed Responder Update Sheet to the Forest Training Officer by the end of the year, and prior to being placed in non-pay status.
RT-130 Fire Refresher and Work Capacity Test schedules for the 2026 fire
season are posted below. If you need the RT-130 Fire
Refresher or a Work Capacity Test, please contact your FMO. If you have
questions related to eMedical or HSQs, visit the Forest Service eMedical
website or contact your local HSQ Coordinator, FMO, or the Forest Training
Officer for guidance.
