The Uintah Basin Interagency Fire Center coordinates aviation, equipment, and ground resources and provides logistical support for anticipated and ongoing wildfire activity nationwide.

The Uintah Basin interagency Dispatch Center (UBIFC) provides support for multiple land jurisdictions, totaling approximately 5,794,886 million acres, and consists of the following agencies:

U.S. Forest Service, Ashley National Forests (ASF), Duchesne, Flaming Gorge, and Vernal Ranger Districts: 1,405,754 ac.

U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Managed by the Ashley National Forest: 738 ac.


Bureau of Indian Affairs, Uintah and Ouray Agency (UOA): 1,064,856 ac.


BLM Vernal Field Office, Desert Rivers District (DRD): 1,671,077 ac.


National Park Service, Dinosaur National Monument (DSP) 52,944 ac.


U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Ouray National Refuge (OWR): 7,762 ac.


Division of Natural Resources Forestry, Fire and State Lands (NES), Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties: 1,591,759 ac.
