Work Capacity Test (WCT)

The FS continues to implement the web-based system called eMedical, a secure process to automate and streamline the health screening and medical clearance process for incident qualified employees who are required to take a fitness test. FS employees seeking medical clearance to take the Work Capacity Test (WCT) will use eMedical to initiate the medical clearance process, complete and submit an HSQ form, and if necessary, complete and submit an OF-178 and waiver requests.

WCT Brochure, a tool to inform employees and tentatively selected individuals of fitness expectations, medical screening and testing requirements.

Everyone who takes the WCT at all fitness levels must be pre-approved to test using the new eMedical process. Contact your A/FMO or a HSQ Coordinator for information on how to obtain approval. You must bring your WCT clearance email and your signed Informed Consent form with you on the day of the test, unless otherwise directed.
