  kilometers, etc.).
  
  
• Enter the total area involved for Single incidents in this block.
  
  
• Size by Unit and Complex by Incident for further instructions for those circumstances.
  
  
• If the incident involves more than one protecting unit or a mixed ownership, agencies/organizations may
  require listing a size breakdown by organization.
  • You can also include this information in Remarks, Block 47.

NOTE: The ICS 209 application only accepts acres, hectares, square miles and square kilometers. Convert
other area measurements to one of these when submitting an electronic ICS 209 report.
