Welcome to the Southwest Coordinating Group (SWCG)
The mission of the Southwest Coordinating Group is to enhance the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of interagency fire management activities, and to respond to and support non-fire emergencies, as necessary.  Conference calls and meetings of the Southwest Coordinating Group are held monthly.

As a fire season progresses, the SWCG will change hats and become the SWA Multi-Agency Coordinating (MAC) Group.  As the MAC Group, the members prioritize incidents, allocate, relocate, and acquire resources, plan for contingency activities, and respond to media, agency, and common issues that cross agency boundaries.
