  • FAMWEB (SIT/209) PASSWORDS

    1. FAMWEB passwords will need to be reset every 60-90 days.

      • Should you go beyond 60-days, but less than 90-days, you will be prompted upon your next LogOn to change the password.

      • Should you go beyond 90-days but less than 330-days, your password will need to be reset with a temporary password by the IIA HelpDesk (866.224.7677) or GACC Administrator.

      • Should you go beyond 330-days, your FAMWEB account will be deleted. In this case, you will need to create a new account with a different USER ID or contact the FAMWEB HelpDesk to re-establish your old account with a different USER ID.

    2. If you incorrectly type in your password five times, the account will be locked for 15 minutes. 

      • Five more attempts beyond the first five will cause the account to permanently lock.  At this point, the account can only be unlocked with a new password provided IIA HelpDesk or by the GACC Administrator.

    3. Users will receive and email notification to the email address in their FAMWEB profile seven (7) calendar days and one (1) day prior to expiration. Users will need to Logon to the FAMWEB Portal and re-set their password.

      • A link to reset the password can be found under the "Administration" link in the leftside-menubar.

    4. If you forget or lose your password:

      • Your first contact should be the FAMWEB HelpDesk at:  866.224.7677.

      • If the HelpDesk is unavailable or unable to assist you, you can contact the local GACC Administrator to reset your password.

      • Please note, in some Geographic Areas the Dispatch Center Manager may be responsible for re-setting passwords.
