During the active fire season, a SIT Report is required on a daily basis. Likewise, ICS‐209s are used to report large wildfires and any other significant events on lands under federal protection or ownership. Lands administered by states and other federal cooperators may also report in this manner. Consult the requirements within your Geographic Area for submission times, frequency, etc. Once your data has been submitted, it will be reviewed by your GACC. If there are any problems or questions, they must be resolved by 0200 Mountain Time, the submission deadline for NICC.
- NOTE: Remarks should be professional and discrete in the comments you make in the “Remarks” tab. Comments such as “hope we get some fires soon”, “here comes the overtime”, or “it’s Miller time and I’m out of here”, are inappropriate.
GACCs have edit access to the data entered by all of the offices within their Geographic Area.
