The SW 7-Day Resource Mobilization Potential (SMob) is a data-driven product developed by the SWCC Intelligence Section to provide fire managers a general overview of resource mobilization potential by Predictive Services Areas (PSA). The output takes into account the SWCC 7-Day Fire Potential Outlook as the primary driver and enhances it with an historical analysis of initial attack, IMT & IHC, daily lightning and precipitation, fire danger risk, and fire restrictions. The result is a Mobilization Level ranging from 1 to 4, with 4 being potential long term, heavy mobilization incidents.
