HOW TO REQUEST PARTICIPATION
IN THE NATIONAL FUEL MANAGEMENT DATABASE
Thank you for your interest in the National Fuel Moisture
Database (NFMD). The National Fuel Moisture Database is a
web-based database system that enables users to upload and/or
view sampled and measured live and dead fuel moisture information.
To get a sample site started, you will need to:
- Complete a Site
Description Form for each fuel sampling site
- When completing Block 13 of the form, use the format listed for each species from the following Fuels List document. If a species is not listed, we cannot, at this point, include the species in your site.
- Send completed form via e-mail to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, or
Postal Service to:
- Jay Ellington
c/o Southwest Coordination
333 Broadway Blvd. SE
- Once received, it will take from 1-3
days before your sample site can be set up in the NFMD
- You will be contacted soon thereafter to let you know the sites have been established and the initial passwords setup for each site.
