The mission of the Nevada Interagency Fire Operations Committee (NIFOC) was established to provide an interagency approach to all aspects of wildland fire activities in the Western Great Basin and to meet the objectives of the Nevada Fire Board of Directors (NFBOD). This committee also provides staff assistance to the Great Basin Operations Committee, as authorized by NFBOD.
