EXTENDED ATTACK FIRES
DEFINITION:
Extended Attack Fires are defined as fires reported via the ICS-209 Program that are > 100 in timber and/or >300 in grass or brush.

WILDLAND FIRE (WF) ... Any non-structure fire, other than prescribed fire, that occurs in the wildland.  Wildland fires on private land are often not reported through the established system. Therefore, they may not get posted to this map.
WILDLAND FIRE USE (WFU) ... The management of naturally ignited (ie., lightning) wildland fires to accomplish specific pre-stated resource management objectives in pre-defined geographic areas outlined in a Unit's Fire Management Plan. Can be a combination of wildland fire use and prescribed fire applications.
