2020 TN-KY Wildland Fire Academy
Tuition, Lodging & Meals Information
**Please Read this Page Carefully**

Students from sponsoring units will not be charged tuition.
"Sponsoring Units" include:
Cherokee NF, Daniel Boone NF, Land Between The Lakes NRA,
the USFS Regional Office in Atlanta (not the entire region),
Kentucky Division of Forestry, Tennessee Division of Forestry,
Region 4 USFWS, and the Southeast Region NPS.

Students from other units will be charged tuition of $60 per day.
Total course tuition is listed on the individual nomination forms.

TUITION PAYMENT

Tuition must be paid at check-in if not paid in advance.
Payments may be made with cash or by check or credit card. Students may bring a completed credit card form to facilitate the payment process.
Credit card payments may be processed via PayPal prior to the Academy start date, but not before acceptance letters have been received.

Checks for tuition payments must be made payable to:
TN-KY Wildland Fire Academy
Please correctly reflect the year as "2020" if dated in January

LODGING AND MEAL PAYMENT
Lodging and/or meal costs are paid separately to the TFACA.
Each student will be responsible for his or her meal and lodging costs.
Meals are available on-site, and limited lodging is available.
The TFACA accepts payment by credit card, check, or cash.
For students staying on site, Lodging (Dorm Rooms) & Meals are $65 per day.
For students staying off-site, meals may be purchased on-site at the following rates:
Breakfast - $7, Lunch - $10, Dinner - $8
Multiple local dining options are also available in Murfreesboro and Shelbyville.


All students are encouraged to stay on-site and eat meals on-site; however, due to the limited number of rooms, some students may have to stay at local hotels.
After receiving an acceptance letter, students may contact the Training Facility to make reservations at 931-294-4305.
Reservations on-site will be based on a "first come, first served" basis, and will begin to be accepted on November 22,2019.
