Significant Events: Began updating the WFIP and the Community Protection Plan to accommodate possible movement to the east. Management action points in Big Creek are not threatened at the time and personnel will continue to monitor.

Remarks: Continue to update WFIP plan as necessary. Red flag day has not increased fire activity at this time, but activity could increase this evening due to possible high north winds. Both Fire Use Modules are counted as overhead.

Observed Fire Behavior: Fire activity has moderated today. Group tree torching with short runs up side drainages and spotting in the northern, western and eastern sections of the fire.

Planned Actions: Continue to reduce threats to improvements in the North Fork of the Shoshone by using bucket drops to slow spread of fire to the southwest. Continue to monitor fire for resource benefit. Prepping structures and structure protection planning is ongoing on the east side of the fire.
