REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS
1. Regular business hours are 0700 to 1530 hours, Monday
through Friday.
2. Resource orders are processed between 0700 and 1430.
Small orders (20 lines or less) will be processed until
the 1530 cutoff.
3. To minimize processing and transportation requirements,
we recommend that each incident consolidate and transmit
one order following the initial 48hrs.
4. The last scheduled dispatch of supply orders will be
1530 hours.
5. Returns will be accepted and processed between 0730 and
1500 hours. Shipments arriving after 1500 will be unloaded
and processed at 0730 hours on the following day.
6. Cache management retains the prerogative to extend the
dispatch window to meet critical needs on a case by case
basis. Please request an extension no later than 1300 hours
on the day in question. This may result in additional labor
costs.
7. Orders for the Initial Incident Command setup, Initial
Attack, Emerging Fires and direct protection of life and
property may be exceptions to the rule. These will be processed
outside of the normal operational period when necessary.
Contact the cache if this applies to your situation.
8. For fire emergencies after business hours, please call
the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center (RMACC) at 303-445-4300
or 1-800-494-2073.
ACTIVE LARGE FIRE BUSINESS HOURS
During periods of active large fires or multiple incidents, the Rocky Mountain (RMK) Cache may implement an expanded operational period up to seven (7) days per week and/or sixteen (16) hours per day. Again, exception may be made for response to initial attack, emerging fires, and life endangerment.
EXPANDED RETURNS
During periods of active fires or multiple incidents, the RMK Cache will accommodate customers with what management deems necessary for hours of operations for proper support.
A few things to remember:
1. Contact the cache at least two hours in advance of your
delivery, especially when you are within one hour of closing
time.
2. Expect the process to off-load and document the delivery
to take at least one hour or longer for larger loads and
multiple vehicles.
3. Be sure your delivery is properly documented with an
accurate manifest.
4. Fore safety reasons for off-loading personnel, ensure
loads are packed consciously not only for the personnel,
but to maintain equipment properly.
