Standard Operational Hours

The Rocky Mountain Cache will be open Monday thru Friday with an eight hour operational period.  With the exception of initial attack and large fire initial orders, the following operational procedures will be in effect:

1.   The daily operational period will be 0800 to 1630 hours.

2.    Supply orders will be processed between 0800 and 1500.  Small orders (20 lines or less) will be processed until the 1630-hour cutoff.

3.   To minimize processing and transportation requirements, we recommend each incident consolidating and transmitting orders no more than twice a day.  To set up regularly scheduled ordering times, contact us at 303-202-4940.

4.   The last scheduled dispatch of supply orders will be 1630 hours.  Cache management retains the prerogative to extend the dispatch window to meet critical needs on a case-by-case basis.

5.   Haulback shipments will be accepted and processed between 0800 and 1630 hours.  Shipments arriving after 1630 will be unloaded at 0800 hours on the following day.

 

Initial attack orders, initial fire orders and orders for supplies directly related to protecting of life and property are exceptions to the rule. These will be processed outside the operational period when necessary.  Please, contact the Cache by telephone if the order needs to be sent outside the normal operational hours.

       Active Large Fire Operational Hours

 

     During active large fires or multiple incidents the Rocky Mountain Fire Cache will implement two shifts, covering an operational period of sixteen (16) hours daily.   Initial attack orders, initial fire orders, and orders for support directly related to protecting life and property is excepted to this procedure.
