The West Zone covers over 1,900,000 acres of National Forest and Public Lands in western Colorado.
The agencies supported by West Zone operations are the Bureau of Land Management, Grand Junction Field Office, and the U.S. Forest Service, Grand Valley Ranger District.
Cooperating agencies include the Mesa County Sheriff Office, Colorado State Forest Service, and the Colorado National Monument.
