Rocky Mountain Area MOB Guide 2008
Preface
The Rocky Mountain Area Incident Mobilization Guide identifies
established standards and procedures, which guide the operations
of the Rocky Mountain Area Multi-Agency logistical fire
dispatch and coordination activities. The guide is a supplement
to the National Interagency Mobilization Guide and is designed
for amendments as needed, and shall be retained as currently
applicable until amended. Dispatch Centers shall supplement
the Area Guide as necessary.
Please review each chapter of the Rocky Mountain Area Interagency
Mobilization Guide carefully and submit any recommendations,
changes and updates to the guide, through dispatch channels,
to the Rocky Mountain Area Interagency Coordination Center
(RMC).
Dispatch Centers, please correct and consolidate all pertinent
information from the units within your area of responsibility
and return to RMC.
Chapters 10-90 and Appendix A information is due prior to
the SECOND FRIDAY IN JANUARY, annually.
It is every unit’s responsibility to ensure the information
submitted is correct and final before it is submitted to
RMC for publishing. Any unit failing to submit their information
by the specified due dates risks not having their information
published in the Rocky Mountain Interagency Mobilization
Guide.
An annual RMA Mobilization Guide review/update will be done
the 2nd week of February. Representatives from the following
groups will participate: RMCG, Dispatch, Operations, Aviation,
Fire Business Management and RMC.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the
Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center.
Thank you for all of your input and efforts.
