Updated Large Incidents

BLUE LAKE, Central Land Office, MT-DNRC. Full suppression management strategy. Lightning caused, started on BLM land 9.5 miles SW of Ennis, MT. Timber (grass and understory) and brush (2 feet). Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering with occassional individual tree torching. Structures, sage grouse habitat and Whitebark pine threatened. Anticipated containment 08/30.

VINEYARD 2, Central Land Office, MT-DNRC. Unknown cause, started on private land 8 miles N of Great Falls, MT. Short grass (1 foot). Minimal fire behavior. Numerous structures threatened. Anticipated containment 07/28.
