May 7th is National Preparedness Day!!

Come participate in Teton County’s own national Wildfire Community Preparedness Day event at the Teton County & Jackson Recreation Center on May 7th. Fire safety information booths and demonstrations will be available for all ages! Fire Adaptive Communities exhibits include, live fire extinguisher exercise for indoor home safety, “Firewise” and “Ready Set Go” education on best practices for home and community wildland fire protection, wildland fire’s vital role in maintaining heathy forests, Smokey Bear meet and greet, “touch a fire truck” and much more!

Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Headwaters Charity Golf Scramble! This event put on by the Bridger-Teton and Caribou-Targhee National Forests goes to benefit the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Held Saturday, June 4th - 1000 shotgun start at the Cedar Creek Golf Course in Star Valley Ranch WY.
