((Updated 5/13/26 at 6:14pm) Teton Interagency Fire resources are responding to suppress the Spread Creek Fire burning near Sagebrush Flat at the top of Spread Creek on the Blackrock Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The fire is currently estimated at 80-100 acres in size and actively burning in timber, torching and spotting with the high winds. The Rescue 22 helicopter, a wildland fire module, two type 3 engines, and a 10-person module from Teton Helitack are currently responding. Three interagency hotshot crews and two initial attack crews are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Additional resources are also being ordered to help with suppression efforts.

The public is asked to please stay away from the Flaggstaff Road while firefighting efforts are underway. The fire has spotted over the road.
