White Rock
Five firefighters from the Pinedale and Big Piney Ranger Districts have hiked in fire and will be fully suppressing the fire using Minimum Impact Suppression Tactics (MIST) as the fire is located in the Bridger Wilderness Area. Hand tools, crosscut saws, and backpack pumps/bladder bags will be utilized to construct a line around the fire and mop up.
The fire is located on the west side of the Upper Green River Lake in a small stand of timber. Rock slopes are adjacent to the south and west.
This fire was previously referred to as the Green River Lake fire.
