NUIFC is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a cooperative effort between the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service and the State of Utah Forestry Fire and State Lands. NUIFC is responsible for dispatching and coordination for approximately 14 million acres which averages 500 fires per year.
